EA games on Dell 2005fpw problem

I just got a dell 2005fpw and the res is 1680x1050.Im not worried about playing the game in widescreen since that seems like it already does. The problem is that when I play need NFS undergound,the menus I guess are set at 800x600 and when the menu comes up I can only see half of the screen.It automattically goes to the right side of the screen.Is there any way to fix this or is it goin to do this with every EA game.The racing part of the game fills the whole screen.One again it is only when it is in the intro and the menu part of the game.THANKS

From my experiences with EA games on my laptops 1680x1050 panel, it's EA's lousy coding...

I have no idea why they insist on making their menu's 800x600, but they do. :(
