Hi im jimmy and ive been havibng trouble running a widescreen in MW2... i went to widescreen fixer and trying to install frameworks but it wont let me.. it keep giving me error saying that i need to turn windows feature on or off.... i went to control panel but i dont know which to uncheck or which to check.. can anyone please help me? thanks

Am i right? Did the mw2 update? the widescreen fixer seemd not to work on me.. everytime i togle the hotkey nothing happens....

steps i did... download frmaework 4
install 7-Zip
download wiscreen fixer and widescreen with all games plug ins ( extract both in same folder )
run widescreen fixer set both custom 5760x1080
make hot keys to 1
run game and go to option to change resolution to 5760x1080
hit hotkeys 1 and nothing happen....

can anyone help me?

I'm not aware of a MW2 update. You're the only person to contact me about it so far. I do not have MW2 installed at the moment so I cannot verify if it was updated.

Widescreen Fixer won't fix the background in the main options menu of Call of Duty games. The graphic they use in the background just wasn't made wide enough to fit three monitors. However, when you actually play the game, the HUD should be centered and the aspect-ratio should be corrected.

I may have just fixed the mouse issue. :) I'll have to find someone to help test it before I release it, though.

yea i noticed that..... i thought that my fixer is not wrking coz the amin menu isnt fix to wide.... but in actual game it does work.. sorry false alarm....

i'd like to develop a plugin for FSX and/or X-plane. FOV distortion is a huge issue in both games when using Eyefinity. I came across this app and was relieved to find there "might" be hope. What's involved? Do i have to donate? Because i will gladly donate to get this fixed for all simmers.

Hi Dopefish,

I was prompted to update my widescreen fixer tonight for the new black ops update and the single player update is not working for me. It recognizes the game is running but will not correct the aspect ratio. Multi-player works fine. Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug or game issue?

actually dope, is it possible to have all cod's in one file?,
example cod 1.0.57 detect everything, so i have no need to change it if I switch games(clan wise), not really in a clan but i have a few clients that are, we are willing to pay alil extra i dont know if anyone else is but a plain cod updated option would be nice, or would it take to much of our resources?

You mean you want Widescreen Fixer to auto-detect which CoD you are playing and automatically select that?

Battlefield 2142 has just gotten updated to 1.51 and it looks like the fix for 1.50 no longer works. The official patch can be found here http://www.4players.de/4players.php/download_info/Download/Download/56669/Battlefield_2142/Patch_151.html weighing in at 2.0GB. Similar to the BF2 1.50 patch it adds the expansion pack (Northern Strike) and some new maps. The big plus is the disc is no longer needed for retail users like myself.

I will reinstall BF2142 some time soon and work on an updated plugin for it.

I'd rather just leave it the way it is. It would be too troublesome and time consuming to make a plugin that detects mulitple CoD games, specific versions, and have it ready to use. The way it is now you only have to download the plugins for the game you wish to play and select the right version from the drop-down list.

It may say unrecognized but still work fine. Unrecognized just means that Widescreen Fixer doesn't know what it is. You just have to give it a shot.

No joy. Fix won't enable.

It's odd, the game seems to be HOR+ right now even without the fix saying it's enabled, but the HUD and maps are all whack.

So I guess it is enabled, but just doesn't fix the crosshairs or HUD for cod2?




Still it's lookin alot better than the first time I played it on my old athlon rig back in the day.

Are you using a retail disc .exe?

I've only tried the retail .exe. I do not know about the Steam version or cracked version.

Yep, it's retail CD.

it's not the original retail, it was the one that came out a bit later with "Game of the year" on it.

black ops single player is not working. hmm multiplayer works fine but single player says fix enabled and nothing changes. Wanting to know if theres any progress towards fixing this?
