Hey... 1st i would like to say that i luv ur program and it is really the best !

2nd i have the follwing question :
Are you aware of any Punkbuster Problems recently ?
e.g. since 4 or 5 days ? I keep on getting kicked from servers with an aimbot violation msg. But i (really and honestly) dont have 1 installed.
so my thought was, it may be the widerscreenfixer which i keep running ...

Any thoughts on that ?!

Don't get me wrong... i am not complaining at all... just trying to limit down my possible problem.

:shock: :shock: Sorry but, an aimbot detection by PB is a 99 % cheat.

A gamehack detection or a md5tools detection coud be cuestionable.

BF2 and BF2142 was updated by PUNKBUSTER at level client several days ago.
Be careful because if you play in streamed servers your guid will be banned permanently in those servers.

Anyway, widescreenfixer doesnt violate any PB triggers at the moment.

Good work Dope. Just BF2 and BF2142 have got a playable widescreen format.

What a pity !! TH2GO is not 100 % operative. :( :(

Yeah, that's not my fault. ;) The Battlefield engine just doesn't handle the extreme FOV's of TH2GO correctly. :(

I think limit BF engine to FOV is 16:9 format.

Version 1.10 is up. :)

* Saves settings now.
* Vehicle field of view extended for BF2142.
* Added window fade in/out on open/close.
* Cleaned up a lot of code internally.
* Also remembers last position of application itself.
* Default update time lowered to 20ms.
* Enable/disable key moved to Right Control.
* Disabling the fix in BF2 now restores the default FOV.
* Cleaned up installer script and installer registry entries.
* Fixed file description.

I was one of those who didn't have the right-ctl key (on my zBoard) but the ";" key in v1.10.1 works perfectly for me. Even the positioning on the zBoard feels great for BF2142. 4.999 outtah 5 once again from me.

ps: since i would notice the FOV change and hiccup in previous versions, it now works so flawlessly that i feel the need to 'check' if it's actually enabled in game 8)

:? :? Key ";" on non-english keyboard is a little difficult to find it.

To spanish keyboard: ";" key is on the right "p" key. :wink: :wink:

This is great news dopefish!

For a while now i have been playing bf2 at 1280x960 with aspect ratio scaling, cause i couldn't zoom with your hack and im a sniper..

Now with the fixed version, i can finally play at 1680x1050 but the framerate is too low and thats why a new computer is on the way :D

I am using TH2GoD with 3x19" LCDS at resolution 3072x768 with Widescreen fixer v1.21=16:4 (3x4.3 Surround) <-- not sure if I have that right.

I keep getting kicked by PB from servers using Fixer v1.21. It keeps saying to me "WARNING RESTRICTION: Multiple DIRECT 3D Loaded..."

What do I do?

Try updating your PB manually and see if that helps first.

Ok, I am a little confused. I did update my BF2142.exe using pbsetup.exe and it updated the games Punkbuster. How do I do it manualy? Do I download a newer Punkbuster from evenbalance? Sorry, I don't understand how to do this.

Well I am at a stump now... I still get the "WARNING: RESTRICTION: Multiple Direct 3D loaded..." PB Kick even after manually updated pb... not sure what to do now.

I meant with this tool.

I have v2.7 of pbsetup and I still get kicked from punkbuster after using it to update the game.

So I updated the game manually and through pbsetup and I still get kicked. I wonder what it could be?

In BF2142, PB doesnt kick me using 1.21 patch at 3840x1024.

I think your problem is VISTA O.S.

I use XP.

VISTA and BF2142 = difficult relationship to PB in 3D :x :x :x

I am thinking it's Vista too... soon soon... once I get another harddrive I am going to be dual booting. Meanwhile I guess I am going to have to play BF2142 on my single screen.
