Is anyone a member of these forums? They have access to the source code, maybe they can fix the stretched HUD?
FYI this community group is being supported by the publisher. They have the source code and some funding.

Came out on the 7th and the game is still crash-o-licious. I did a clean reinstall and patched and I can't play more than 5 minutes without it CTDing. F'n ridiculous.

I just recently bought this game for $3 at Circuit City... glad to see it's still being updated, albeit unofficially.

The final 1.7 patch is out. I would post the change log but it would not fit.
Need to start a new game.
Melee combat appears to have been reworked.

Read the log, 'performs better than a slideshow' hasn't been done yet.
Guess I wait for the next patch.

This is the last patch IIRC.
G3 only supports a single core and eats a lot of RAM. They optimized some with the patch but I think the engine they were working with limited their options.

I've never been able to play, even reducing all options down to minimum at 640x480 and it's still slower than crysis on a 8400. Totally unplayable and as far as I can tell it's a problem with the UI/font rendering so not unfixable.
Considering the base/recommended specs for it it should run fine on this rig even if it does only use 1 of the 2 3ghz cores, it doesn't.
