Also: I've noticed you have a fair deal of information in the status window of Flawless Widescreen. The only thing that appears in mine is "Injecting...".

Running with 2x GTX680 in SLI @ 6040x1080 Bezel Corrected.

I'm having the exact same problems as this guy. No aspect fix, just "Injecting..." and all text vanishes.

Found the solution. I had enabled "Override Display Detection (Manual)" in the settings dialog and that was causing the display adapter to be recognized as generic. Switched back to the default settings (All checked in "Display Detection Hardware Support") and "Enable Surround Assumption" with default values and now it works perfectly. Great fix!

HaYDeN wrote:Known bugs remaining:

- Hit damage count (to the left above the health bar) is not visible. (I personally dont think this is worth the time to fix as it's diffcult to start debugging while keeping it on screen)

- FMV Cinematics are stretched. (low priority)

The party members menu is bugged (only shows up when you summong or join other players). The health bars jump everywhere and the names don't match up. If you need help testing this, I can join your game and AFK while you look for the solution.

Hello, and great work! This is looking very promising.

However, while setting the game to borderless window removes the letterbox for 16:10 resolutions, it does not seem to actually be rendering @16:10 internally, but rather just cropping a 16:9 image. Here is a screenshot taken @1920x1200 borderless window, resized and superimposed over a screenshot taken @1920x1080 of the same area:

Would be great if you could make it so it renders at 16:10 (and other ratios) internally.

Thanks and keep up the great work :)

Would you mind sharing your other settings?

I dont know if its a game bug or a bug caused by the fix. But user messages aren't visible in the water.

This game is now VAC secured so I'm not sure if continued use of Flawless Widescreen will work. Hayden will have to chime in

What do you mean is now VAC? It wasn't before? I ask, because I've been using the fix for coop and invasions just fine so far.

Yes, as of today Valve has enabled VAC for Dark Soul 2 - it's now listed on the store page as well.

more info here: http://www.reddit.com/r/DarkSouls2/comm ... uld_avoid/

(for the record I'm risking it and still using FWS and GeDoSaTo)

I've updated the plugin to add a warning that you will need to tick before proceeding, prior to today the game was not VAC secured supposidly - atleast the store did not make mention of it.

In theory, offline mode is completely safe.

Online mode is a definite grey area, the HUD fix changes the executable integrity in memory - there is no other way to do it... my understanding is that VAC only detects known hacks that it has a signature for, but it's possible they implement a EXE wide consistancy check.

Another words, tread with caution - I feel I've taken all the steps I can take to make you aware of the risk, the assessment of that risk is up to you.

Guys,

So the game was working fine yesterday, meaning that eyefinity was working fine. However after today's game update thru steam now I have the two side monitors black. I have tried:
Changing resolutions
Unplugging them
Turning on GPU scaling on CCC and nothing....any Ideas? thanks a lot.

No problem. Hopefully VAC doesn't ban for it. If it does, be sure to post here :D.

I'm personally waiting a few weeks before going back to multiscreen =(

I know this might be extra work, but has anyone tried letting Valve know (if such a thing is possible) about the fix to get an approval from them? This way, VAC can somehow white list flawless widescreen.

Valve tends to whitelist apps on their own. There is no process for formally submitting something to be whitelisted.
