Cool, most appreciated, thanks
Any one know how to change

Anyone found a way to change the settings yet? It really sucks playing on medium with no vsync at 270 fps on a 7970. Nothing works to cap the frame rate on this game. I guess I have to downclock to half :O
Has anyone else realized it

Has anyone else realized it is not really playing at 5760*1080 and its actually 4800*900 on medium settings. Single screen looks alot better

Mate all I know is I tried to play the game single screen with that FOV and it was making me sick...and I NEVER get sick from any game. Hopefully Dopefish can work out the kinks with the clipping and FOV etc so they all work.

If you play it on a single screen, just disable the clipping and aspect-ratio fixes and just use the FOV fix.
The clipping fix is only for surround users, and that's what causes the crashes.
The aspect-ratio fix just overrides the default aspect-ratio, which is primarily needed for surround users.

I don't want to play it on a single monitor Dopefish! :P I was waiting for further developments on your fix...it looks great in surround :)
Eyefinity is a no go on this

Eyefinity is a no go on this game until there is a way to play at 5760*1080 and up. Plus the settings have to be maxed. The graphics are stuck and are unable to change making it look much worse than consoles. Not being able to use vsync is a killer on a 7970 with it flying over 300fps!
Widescreen fixer works good and thank you dopefish. If the game cannot have graphic setting modification and be able to play at native resolution then its broken for 3 screens
Just curios to see if this

Just curios to see if this game has been officially fixed by you fine gents.
The comments regarding the 5760 x 1080 issue has me worried.

According to the 2K-forums a new patch for the pc version of darkness II has finally gone live.
Changelog:
- FOV slider support.
- Various fixes for extra-wide resolutions—the game now retains a very wide screen resolution when changing any video option from the graphics options menu.
- Added an "aspect ratio" toggle—Players can choose between 4:3, 16:9, 16:10 and Auto options.
- nVidia 3D fixes for shadows + 3D reticule & objective markers.
- Additional Bug fixes.
Although there still seems to be no real multi-monitor support the game now should retain ultra-wide-resolutions when changing video-options which is a step forward.
Has anyone already tested this? (I can not do this myself atm).
Additionally widescreenfixer may need an update to support this new version ...
Quick update after some

Quick update after some testing:
- Multi-monitor-resolutions like 5760 * 1080 are now available via the options-menu
- Changing graphic-options no longer makes the game fall back to 1920 * 1080
- However even if "auto" is selected as aspect ratio, the game still does not correctly extend the fov with three monitors
- Widescreenfixer seems to need an update to support this new version of Darkness II as the current one does not effect the game anymore
Hope I havent overlooked something because I only ran a quick test on this.

Hey guys,
Anyone else having dramas with this game in surround? I can't load it up any more on multi display. It gives me a black screen and then returns to desktop. If I disable my other monitors it works on a single screen but I can't change the resolution higher then 1920x1080. Does anyone know of a way to edit the resolution manually...either via .ini files etc. Or does anyone know where I can delete the resolution settings. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. Cheers for the ehlp.

The cfg-files of the game are stored in C:Users[Username]AppDataRoamingDarknessII
However they are encrypted and can not be edited but you might want to delete and let the game re-create them.
Assuming that you use a legit version of the game you should have already got a first patch via steam which makes ultra-wide-resolutions like 5760 * 1080 selectable in the options.
In combination with widescreenfixer for correcting the fov, darkness II now should run well in eyefinity / sourround (although the menues are still streched / cropped).
Dont know but maybe the developers will add full multi-monitor-support with a second patch...

Thanks for the reply mate. I am using the Steam version, but it wont let me change the resolution. At the moment it wont even start unless I disable 2 screens, so I'll try deleting the files and go from there. Cheers again.
Update: Yeah that worked, thanks mate. Shame the menus are still cropped.
