Even if someone releases one, stay the heck away from it.He Who Dares Wins!

or...

He Who Makes A New STEAM Account and Gives It A Try May Win!

I suppose if someone has only MW2 on a Steam account they might be up for trying it. Losing TF2, L4D and CounterStrike because of it though? No, sir.

whoa it works!!

so hey what would be a good aspect ratio for 5760 x 1200?

i know 3x 16:10 is 48:1 but it still seems a bit stretched..

u guys should be inputing 4.8 for that.

basically its X resolution / Y resolution.

I think because the default is a little tight you need to use a higher ratio. 5.2 seems right to me (though it should be 4.8 )

Hell I have 113 games on STEAM so (yeah) I will be trialling it on a separate account!

in a mission at the biginning (after playing with the mini gun inside a car and kill some guys into a building...) i go out of this building and it appears the game will do something because it crash avery at same time at the same moment...

i have enter 5 into aspect ratio , press f1 before resume the game, all works great before this crash...

also, 4x mode is setup in my config into the game but drivers force 2x for more fps.
edit2: raaaah²

it crash also without patch and in default display options... i'm so borring... now eyefinity works, the game crash...

crash also at the start of the mission, i have reinstall completely the game, launch him,it crash after the loading screen after the credits...

i'm so a lucky man...

Wow, I'm really glad I found this thread. Had posted a msg about this issue over at hardocp.

I've downloaded the patch and would like to try it out. However, I'm a bit hesitant considering the talk of account bans on steam. I've already activated it on my primary steam account and obviously don't want to lose access to my games. What's the best way to test the fov fix then? Could I simply disable my internet adapter?

A bit confused... tks

i think it will not work with steam beacause patch design an exe file and in steam, there is also an exe file or just a link into the interface ?

I should probably mention that I have the retail version, but it had to be installed with steam.

fuc847 that made is has only made a memory hack for SP so no MP. So it is obviously possible but needs someone who can mem-mod to do it... that ain't me!

I'm sure ATI and Steam or the game producers are getting alot of feedback right now especially from guys like us running it in multi-mon setup.

I'm sure ATI, Steam and the game producers are getting an ear full from guys running in multi-mon setup and I'm sure that they are working on it as we speak, when will we get this fix? Your guess is as good as mine.

I too got mine from Steam and would advise you when using any hacks or mods that you do this at your own risk. So be careful.

I hope we get a fix soon. :D

So i got the utility from here to modify the game's Aspect Ratio but even at 5.2 it still looks slightly stretched, I can easily tell because characters look "fat-ish", if i try to go past this number the Aspect Ratio does not increase.

Im playing with Eyefinity at 5760 * 1200, what Aspect Ratio do you guys use and how do you get it to increase more past 5.2?

Thanks

@CY:G, is that a retail copy or a Steam download?
