Now, if only FoV options would get back... :(

P.S.
Still using bugged release with those options. Yeah, reload is borked, but I can live with that.

Awesome work HaYDeN !!! :cheers

I really appreciate your efforts.
and this time I have put Steam in "offline" mode, in addition to "disabled updates" for Witcher 2.

Note for anyone unfamiliar with Steam: even if you have "disabled updates" for Witcher 2, if Steam is not in "offline" mode, it will begin to download the update anyway and hose your game. This happened to me earlier when I had a 1.1 version working.

Thanks HaYDeN

It's most likely computer/configuration specific....

What operating system? [windows 7 i guess according to report], what file path are the files in?

Does the Windows form appear or not?

Mine was crashing on startup too, but strangely, just moving the folder to a new location stopped that.

That's why I asked what the file path is - I did find a error with the array allocation for the path... would only effect users with scarily long path names.

[edit]
Can those experiencing issues with crashes on startup try http://www.flawlesswidescreen.org/flawlessws/flawlessws-test.zip and report your findings.

I was having crash on startup, I fixed it by setting the properties of the exe file with run as admin and compatibility with XP SP3.

Also the eyefinity wasn't working even if I had Flawlessws enabled, and I fixed that by running it through the launcher instead of the actual game exe.

Thought that would help.

Hello Hayden,

I played a little with the beta fix for Mass Effect (the one available in this tool). Do you think you can find a way to make the HUD appear when the game is running in Eyefinity/Surround? The Fov increase is gorgeous but the hud is not visible... If this would be possible it would be uber....

Best regards.

Entirely unfinished and I haven't spent anymore time on it as yet.

@Hayden: what's up with the blur? ( nvidia/1.2 retail/all checked except helifax workaround )

standing still seems ok but was blurry on an early version on 1.1 iirc:

but when moving:

I think you need to disable blur, blur in most games is way over done anyways... it'd be fixable but not exactly a priority imo.

Motion Blur to be exact
strange that it works as designed only with your fix :doh

It works great, because it's only subtle, without the th-fix. The fix makes it allways run on "full throttle", thats why you noticed it.

@topic: Still not working with softth. log says some weird things:

Device window pre-create: 0x0/4540x1050
Device window post-create: 0x0/1680x1050

Flawlessws definatly changes something, but it's resizing to 16:9 instead of increasing to at least 16:10. Some log might be usefull, i can`t read what the tool says and use all screens at the same time ;) .
