whenever I try to run it, it crashes immediately saying it has stopped working. I'm running Win7 Ultimate 64 bit and has C++ distributable x86 and x64 installed. Any ideas?

That links to the twitter feed which doesn't actually say this... it does say "16:10 is to be implemented at a later time" NOT 1.2

Ok I have almost the same problem. I got the latest Flawless WS (tried downloading and using auto updater both), running Win7 64-bit, ATI card here, Steam version 1.1. After loading a game it crashes to desktop instantly (no error message). Game works fine if I run it without the fix enabled (or if I enable the fix afterwards.. but enabling the fix after running the game doesn't actually do anything?).

I should also add that with 1.0 the fix worked great.

Hey I just figured something out ....

If I load a game in chapter 2, it will just crash right away. If I load a game in chapter 1 (in my case "where is triss merigold"?) the game is fine and its fixed (no black bars). Then I can load a game in chapter 2 and it will not crash.

So maybe they are running some slightly different code in chapter 2 the first time the aspect ratio is loaded? Anyway I recommend the above workaround to anyone else whose having crashing issues.

also some people are moaning about the fact it auto enables then crashes the witcher before they can select version? you should heed the advice given, eg. do not start the witcher first.

It works with the polish retail version (1.1)... only thing it does not do is: in the inforamtion
box state what version etc.. it displays " fix Disabled" but my old 24" CRT is now filled with
pixels :cheers

show anything in the information box.. ( except "fix Disabled") but I don't care about that..

unbelievable.....devs should give you a job or a big rap at least....can't believe they didn't implement 16:10 or eyefinity...lazy bastards!

P.S. (Of-Topic) Your Graw 2 WS Fix is singularly the most beautiful thing I have ever seen :-) . I know you have rolled it into Flawless, but outstanding effort. It was one game that the community eventually gave up on ... then BAM, here comes HaYDeN.

How do you find the offsets?? Decompile then extrapolate / experiment? Hexworkshop till the cows come home?

I too can finally use this tool after all the issues I was having with the 1.0 version of the Witcher 2 and the the Widescreen fix. Now if you could do something about the voices and make the background noise less audible so that they can be heard, I might be able to start playing this game.

GOG 1.1 is AOK ... working perfectly now!!!!!!

Hayden I just wanted to post that it is working with the retail version. I get the white dots like everyone. I updated my vid card to the latest hotfix 11.5b but that has a problem with glowing lights bleeding through, so until they fix that which enables me to use my crossfire, then I cant even use your tool because I dont want to lower any settings. BUT thats my problem and you did a great job!!
