2 questions.

What setting in widescreen fixer is everyone running the screen at for 5760 X 1200. Right now I have it on Cinema 2.39:1. it looks ok I guess.
or should I try something else

Also the main menu is stretched out. is this normal ? In game is ok just the menu is stretched

For that resolution, you want 3 x 16:10. :)

Yes, the menus act weird when the fix is enabled. You can either disable the fix while in the menus, or you can use the keyboard to select the items and press enter.

Does the widescreen fixer work for a 64bit OS?

I'm using Windows 7 x64 And I can't get it to work properly. I have the retail version no steam. I chose the game from the list, 3 x 16:10 Wide Surround for 5040x1050 res. left the update rate at default. Run the app and the game enable the fix with ";" key Set the res in options. But I still get a pretty squished image :(

Yep, working here on Win 7 64.

Does the fixer show two "Yes's" when you have the game running and fix enabled?

Are you positive your choosing the right game in widescreen fixer.

What is the aspect ratio set at in advanced graphics settings . Mine is at auto. not sure if that makes a difference though?

Mine works perfect!!

Yep My aspect ratio setting ingame is set to "auto" also

And yes I see the 2 "yes" in widescreen fixer v1.66.0 under Game running and Fix Enabled.

And the game selected from the drop down is correct Modern Warfare 2 v1.0.168 [SP]

I have not downloaded any update patches and I don't see what version it is in the menu. So I'm sure if I have exactly the same version listed in the fixer.

You say it's a retail copy. and you don't have steam. I thought that this game was subject to the acceptance of the steam subscriber agreement. and that it has to be registered with steam.

Widescreen Fixer will not work with pirated versions of MW2.

Widescreen Fixer will not work with pirated versions of MW2.

Out of sheer curiosity, why not? Is there something with the exe that makes it not work, or what?

Cracked versions seem to modify the memory layout. So the address I write to isn't correct on pirated versions. I'm also not going to make a fix for cracked .exe's. :)

Thanks for that, Dopefish.

Works great. My first time playing a FPS with EF. The lack of bezel correction is REALLY distracting, though. C'monnnnnn new drivers....

And boooo to IW for fudging the fix with every patch. But YAY! to Dope for staying on top of it for us.
