New bug: I can't see a mouse cursor on my DP->VGA monitor anymore, this bug wasn't present in the hotfix version of the previous Catalyst drivers. On the plus side hotkey switching now works after I went in, and told it to save the profile again - without having to unplug and plug the adapter back in.

You guys with working hotkeys and shortcuts are lucky, mine still do not. Maybe a driver reinstall is necessary... hmmmmm

Well , It doesn't matter anymore I guess .

After Installing the 10.1 drivers My dirt 2 benchmarks went from 70 FPS to 30-35 FPS. After trying several things without any Improvement. I Just went back to the 9.12 hotfix and got my 70 FPS back.

Absolutely ridiculous. I was pretty stoked about this upcoming driver thinking it was going to be the big Improvement and instead it was total fail.

I had the same thing!

BUT i found that 10.1 had disabled my second GPU core on the 5970 so wiped all drivers and installed 10.1 agan and it was fixed :D But i was getting alot more than 70fps in Dirt 2 :P

Can I ask. what FPS you are getting with your 5970.

One of the things I did try was wiping the drivers. but no luck. although I did hear someone say that they went into ccc 3D settings and reset settings to default and it worked for them . I just haven't had the time to mess with it

I have cursor problem in DP monitor now. First time I noticed this was a little bit ago it just started doing it.

I noticed it while I was in the menu on BFBC2 Beta as well.

If I hover over text the cursor is like a black blob/box.

Right ive tried two reinstall of the 10.1 drivers and in dirt 2 and other games im getting half the perfomance as others have stated it seems to be disableing the 2nd gpu.

Im presently running 2x5870 and only getting 30fps with all settings set to ultra or high exept post processing set to medium and MSAA set to 4x.

On the 9.12 hotfix drivers i was getting over 50fps

Can dave come back to forum members on this issue as it seems to be affecting allot of people inculding peeps i can see on the forums at hardocp as well.

There was an ATI 10.1 Hotfix released shortly after the 10.1. Apparently it fixes some issues with crossfire maybe it is worth a try if you havn't already updated to it.

You can find some discussion related to it here. http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=314311

Ive just tested them with Dirt2 and with everything set to high and ultra and high on post process and 2xMSAA on eyefinity im get around 50fps which seems pretty good on 2 5870 in dx 11

This is basically Cat 10.1 with a Crossfire X and control panel AA profile for Mass Effect 2.

The 10.2 Beta posted above seems to have smoothed things out a bit in BC2 Beta, but still no crossfire logo and a flatline on usage at 0% on the 2nd gpu (looking at msi afterburner).

Basically, since 10.1, my second card is non functional.

I just got a ATIKMDAG blue screen. There are def problems with this 10.1 driver. I was playing BFBC2 and all of a sudden there was like black walls and weird stuff. Then locked up and blue screen all I caught was ATIKMDAG or PAG or something like that. Is there an official hotfix or what. Or should we go back to 9.12......

This and my mouse cursor problem is ridiculous. I have never ever ever had so many problems with video drivers till I got this ATI card. I am not angry I am just saying what should I and we with new problems with this driver do.

I myself just went back to the 9.12 hotfix. Sounds like you would benefit doing the same. I'm just going to wait for the next driver. and will be a little more slow to download the next one until I see other people experience improvements. Until then I will just stick with what works for me.

Well now I just got a Display Port link failure pop up from ATI this the first time I have ever seen this so..... Well I am going to go back to 9.12. It worked besides the shortcuts. But I would rather have no blue screen issues, cursor issues, and DP link failure issues then have working shortcuts. I have no idea why 10.1 was even released.

No issues with the new drivers for me so far. With the 9.12 hot fix, Crysis at 7680x1600 would not run with Catalyst AI enabled and use only one GPU of a 5970. This is now resolved with 10.1 giving me a performance boost of about 40%.

Unfortunately I've found a bug that I've seen in some other forums as well... With my monitor configuration, my monitors will no longer go to sleep automatically. I'm using a DellP2210 via display port, a Sony FW-900 via a DVI->VGA adapter, and a Samsung226CW via DVI. I can put the computer to sleep manually and then the monitor will go off, but the standard automatic monitor blanking doesn't work. This is kind of a big deal for me as my active power draw then the monitors are on is >155W.

I can't let my lcds go into sleep mode either... if I do, they come up with the display group broken and I have to re-create the group, then re-sequence the lcds.. it happened with 9.12hf drivers also.. not a huge deal, but eventually it would be nice if this recovered more gracefully.

No problems here with 10.1 except that on restart the EF group gets broken up in 3 identical ones. I have to recreate the EF group. After that, switching between extended and EF works fine with hotkeys. Not a huge deal since I rarely restart my computer.
