Stupid NOOB question! windows 7!

If anyone is still having problems of starting games in 5040x1050 and having them go to a black screen, I found that some games need to be started in signle screen mode, and then choose your widescreen resolution in game. Some constantly needed starting in singlescreen mode even after I changed the resolution to 5040x1050 in game. Ie start the game in normal 1680x1050 res, which would then automatically go to 5040x1050 in game, then once the game was quit, it would return to singlescreen.

yeah that happens everytime i touch the settings, if it runs in all 3 monitors im happy.
