Actually this one is better then that multiplayer shot

Thanks for the shots.

hey dopefish, do u know which one i select for spec-ops? mp or sp?

I haven't tried that mode yet. It depends on which executable it uses. Since spec ops is launched from the SP .exe, I think you'd probably have to use that one. You'll know either way when you use the fixer, since for one it will say the game is running and the other it won't. :)

Hehe finally got my copy, great game to play on TH (and with the correct AR  ).

Great shots. It looks like a great SP experience with three monitors.

Been playing this game on the console (its lovely).. sure wish I had triplehead since that would solve the problem of getting shot in the back all the time :o

Tried it on the PS3 the other day, online seems to be lacking competive play imo, defintely alot more 'noobs' running around ;)

Although i am terrible with a controller.

ok this is odd. Im using the widescreen fixer for single player but it seems to not be working right. When it says that it is enabled the screen is not as wide as when it is "disabled". It actually looks wider disabled. Is this a bug of the program not recognizing the hotkey press?

It's up to you to change the screen resolution.

As for the aspect-ratio, that depends entirely upon what you set in the application.

However, since the game gets patched through Steam, I may be behind on versions and it may not work correctly. It's kind of annoying because there aren't any point release patches, just random small patches with no changelogs or anything.

I'll check in a bit to see if it still works correctly or not, and if not, I'll update Widescreen Fixer.

Aw I thought this program allowed you to increase the FOV

I've tried the 'cg_fov 90' thing in the ini but that didn't work

Anyone know other ways to increase the fov?

If a FOV Hack comes out make sure that you DO NOT use it online, it will probably get you VAC banned. And well its one thing to get a CDKey banned, its another thing to have a game permanantly tied to your steam account banned.

I would hope they worry about banning all the thousands of real cheaters first ..

It's PS3.. what did you expect? Anyone serious bought it for the 360 so they can participate in pro leagues like MGL.

Thanks for the widescreenfix for this game, I have a question.

Anyone experience small lockups during multiplayer?

I am using 5760x1200 resolution with a 5970 card, FPS is pretty solid above 70 and everything runs fine, but from time to time I get small lock ups, the screen freezes for 1-2 secs and then resumes. And of course it happens when I am firing at someone :P

I closed the widescreenfixer and it didn't do this problem, so I am guessing there is something wrong. I am using Windows 7 64bit.

Thanks again!

The game mostly does that for me when you first get into a level. After two or three minutes in a level, it usually goes away, but sometimes it still happens. I think it's just the game.

Thanks for the quick answer, are you planning to update the fixer for the .172 version or there is no need ?

There's no need, the 168 one still works fine.

They just updated to 174. Fixer doesn't work with this version.

And thanks to dopefish. I really appreciate what you're doing.

hello, is there any way to change fov using widescreenfixer?

i tryed 1x16:10, and its a lil better, just im trying to use bigger fov, like 85 or 90.

so just to ask is there a way or you can make additional tool just for mw2 so we can use fov 85 or 90?
i get the feeling fov changed from 65 to 75 with this tool..not enought :)

While I could change the FOV, I think that's taking things a little far. A lot of people don't like it, including myself, but that was clearly an intentional design. They disabled the console and forced the FOV to 65; I'm going to obey that. The aspect-ratio problem may or may not have been their intention, and it's handled improperly, and that's why I fix that.

Hopefully they'll realize that while a FOV of 65 might be fine for console users because of greater distances between the couch and the TV, PC users sit closer to the screen and need a higher FOV. IW really did screw PC gamers over with MW2 and it's really sad.

my english is not that perfect to substract answer from your post.
all fps games i ever played was usualy 80-90, alot players play the same way.

its just the way you are get used to play, and its iritating to see how they made something in favor of consoles and screwd pc's.
so that fov changer would come in handy.

so alot ppl would appriciate if you can do this.
