I know v1.5 added support for widescreen without the need for my tool. This is why I recommend not using +widescreen 1 when using the tool with v1.5. There were a lot of requests by people to add support for v1.5 of the game. I don't exactly know why, but I went ahead and added it.
If the game works fine for you with +widescreen 1, then you don't need to use the tool anymore.
As for triplehead aspect ratios, the game engine does not seem to handle such wide aspect ratios well at all. Objects disappear and the rendering distance cuts off dramatically, eventually the whole screen gets flipped upside down.

Mmmm Dope: I have tried TH2GO over two monitor getting 2560x1024 without problems. Objects dont disappear and I think FOV is correct at this res.
Take a look:
First jpg is on 1920x1080 16:9 and second jpg is 2560x1024 10:4.
I think 2560x1024 is a limit to game engine.

Do you think it's possible to use 3 monitors, using TH2Go with a 2560x1024 res? (3x855x1024) the aspect ratio may be wrong, but do the TH2Go accept this solution? (sorry for my "average french-english")

I dont think so.
I have done too many tests on bf2142 patch 1.50 and the biggest res playable is 2560x1024 over two monitors in TH2GO.
Three monitors with TH2GO res are unplayable in this game by a bad game engine.
When aspect ratio is bigger than 2.5 (10:4) objects dissapear.
To aim in two monitors is very complicated. I know. :( :(

Yeah. You can go up to a certain aspect ratio and everything will be fine. Once you start getting into three monitors, though, things become really awkward. That's why I just left support out entirely for it.

Might be a longshot but anychance of you adding support for Brothers in arms hells highway as the FOV is horrid. it seems very similar to bioshocks original release FOV ie Zoomed to heck .

Dopefish,
I just dropped a line over at Even Balance to see whether we could begin to formalize your work.
I hope I haven't offended you, and I do not want you to think that I am trying to speak for you, it's just that the work you are doing is legitimate, and there is no reason why it shouldn't be recognized as such.
I will be purchasing a DTHtG soon, and since my clan is pretty much into only the CoD series, IL-2 Sturm and the odd auto racing game the DTHtG offers a lot of promise. Just pisses me off to think that I shouldn't be allowed to use the hardware that I (will) own because some idiot with authority thinks your elegant solution to a very real problem is of questionable integrity.
I will close by saying thank you for all your hard work. It is very much appreciated. Going drop a coin or two in your hat.
BTW, and I mention this only so you have some sort of idea of who I am. I'm a 39 year old former US Marine, and now work for General Dynamics. I am not some kid on a rant, even though the occasional kid on a rant can do a lot good things ;~) .
Keep up the good work & thanks again... :D

I'm all for trying to get this stuff allowed. I've dealt with both EA and EvenBalance when it came to the Battlefield series and they unofficially allow it. I haven't had much luck dealing with Infinity Ward and I haven't tried to contact Treyarch yet. One might argue that it does give you a big advantage with three monitors because of how much more you can see, but the rest you can see is just for perspective. It's not going to make you a better player.
Anyway, there are naturally a lot of people that would have to work this stuff out. It would have to be approved with the developers, publishers, EvenBalance, etc. Then they would have to unofficially allow it so that they don't have to provide any support for it. There's a lot involved and I can understand if they don't want to get involved, but any little bit towards allowing it helps. :)
Thanks, again.

That goes for any sport though. The people arguing such are to put it bluntly plain retarded.
In racing you spend more money, you get a better car.
In hockey you spend more money, you get a better stick and skates.
In Skiing you spend more money, you get better skis.
In gaming, you spend more money, you can get better monitors and better performance.

Not sure if I mentioned this before but you don't need to set the in-game aspect ratio of Call of Duty 4 to 4:3 anymore.

Hotkey=186
took some reading this thread to find out this is "ü" on a german keyboard (qwertz) layout opposed to "ö" which would be the key I usually press to produce ";" assuming qwerty layout.
Anyways, what does 186 stand for? Not ascii, nor anything I can imagine :? Just asking if I wanted to change the key to anything else.
Thanks in advance and thanks again for this nice little program.
