I have the same problem. I'm thinking they must have updated the exe to work with Bloody Palace so the old denuvo free version is not compatible anymore.
I hope I'm wrong !

the patcher for the stam version works perfectly, the exe says that its a virus... thanks so much jackfuste!!!!!!!

have tried patcher at 5880x1080 resolution and game launches in a window and then crashes to desktop.

Any suggestions to get ultra wide working here?

Is there any fix to the HUD? I have the ultrawide fixed, but the HUD is still in the center?

Don't download the .exe zip. It's loaded with a trojan

But I don't think mine is working well... HUD still in the wrong place... can you fix that?

False Positive. Built in Security for Windows has always been crap. The uploader is a trusted member of the community, believe him, not Windows Security/Defender.

So uhm is there no fix for the HUD? The last posts are a month old now....

Hi Sir. We have a new patch today that broke your fix. It´s posible to create a new one for this patch. Thanks a lot.

Someone posted a fix on steam. Simply delete the newest .pak in the games directory and the game will work as normal. Temp fix until a new patch is released here.

Can confirm jackfuste's solution still works by deleting the newest .pak file.

What is the newest .pak file called? I tried deleting pak.patch_004 but it didn't work.

First I Replaced the DevilMayCry5.exe with "jackfuste" ones DevilMayCry5.7z, after that,
I Renamed the "re_chunk_000.pak.patch_004.pak" in "re_chunk_000.pak.patch_004.pak2"
(Rename the File or delete it, does not make a difference).

please fix the patch, after the update I get bars on the left and right of my screen, my resolution is 2560x1080.
