[quote][quote]Thanks again for the job Hayden, it's working now but there is annoying bug.
While the HUD is centered the mouse isn't. It's always displaying on the left screen so that it's hard to play.
Do you think it's possible to correct that ?? :bowdown

That only happens if you enable the fix AFTER you have launched the witcher.
You're right but if i activate first the fix then the menu is unreadable whatever is checked.

GOG or Steam?

Releasing a update in 10-15 minutes... I think I know why the issue you are reporting is happening...

You're fast. Not only the menu is affected. The texts ingame also are affected.

Are you talking about the text hovering over people speaking? or GUI text?

I can't easily fix the hovering text issue, well not without spending 6 months trying to fix it.

I don't expect you to work 6 month on it
I meant the gui texts ie. when you try to grab items on the floor.

[quote] the 4:3, 16:10, and other Aspect related issues would not be addressed in the patch and that he had no info on them at all.

These AR issues are fixed by HaYDeN`s tool.

They are, you're right, and I/we love HaYDeN for it too!

But is there any way we can get rid of the three columns of white dots?

This is on Nvidia surround 2x 570s with 1920x1200 monitors, latest 275.27 betas and Win7 x64.

Any ideas? Its not that bad and I know its a slight issue, but it does take away from some of the emmersivness and if there's a way to get rid of them it would be much better.

I can provide SS if needed. They've been mentioned several times in this thread.

HaYDeN thank you so much for fixing this. Finally I can play the game after 5 days. Letterboxing effects tend to make me physically ill if I look at them for more then an hour, same thing happens with 3d viewing for me.

I have donated, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Well, sometimes i have the texts unreadable somtimes not. Just don't know why.

Edit, i can have the texts sometimes to be readable. It's related to the stretch HUD check. With or without checked it helps sometimes.
When the text is screwed, everything is. Gui, dialogues, even the white dots that makes me think they have something to do with texts.

If you really want rid of the dots then you will have to go back to a stretched HUD and stretched menu's, otherwise you'll just have to suffer.

Can add the option if you REALLY want.

yes. the dots are part of the HUD.

Someone go look for the artwork for the HUD and try modify it that way.

This has nothing to do with HaYDeN`s hack, this fullscreen issue should be fixed by a game patch tomorrow.

Yeah i know. I just wondered if the fact that i can't launch the game in fullscreen mode could be the reason why i have problems with stretched texts.

Hope Patch is gonna help to get it in Fullscreen!

Some1 else has really bad performance ?

I'm running it in 6048x1080 in windowed mode on a Core2Duo E8400 and AMD Radeon HD6970, had 45FPS in 1920x1080 High details!
But now in Eyefinity i get 7-9 FPS in Very High, 15-20 in High, 22-25 in Middle, and 28-32 in Low ! If i manually put everythig to the lowest i get something like 35 FPS! But The Witcher in Low Quality is unplayable! (just happend to make some Videos of quality xD (FPS is dropping extremly because of recording) Watch them on my Youtube Channel)

Is that Normal?
We gonna send it to outa space!

Thank you HaYDeN !!! awesome work.

I am running at 6048x1200 with high settings but Bloom off, textures medium, and shadows medium.
My GPU is an ATI 5970. My CPU is i7 X980. 12GB DDR3.
Steam version of Witcher2.

I had performance issues until I turned off Bloom and turned down textures/shadows.

Just monitor your GPU usage. You will probably see that it's not running full time @ 99% ...

I don't see any files that even relate to the HUD in the Witcher directory unless its part of the .exe or in one of the archives in the CookedPC directory, maybe pack0.dzip? (~9GB).

I have Visual Studio and Photoshop so I could give it a shot. Any idea where to start looking for HUD graphics, HaYDeN?

I'm sure this will get removed when they release their FOV/res patch later but... why not do it now :)

dzip will not open .dzip files as they're not ".dz" and changing the suffix doesn't work either. Where to get a program to open .dzip :

Did find this though. link

I gave that Flawlesswidescreen program a try but I cannot seem to get it to work for me using Windows 7 64 bit.
When I looks at the process info it says:

Detected Resolution 160x27

but I do see 1920x1200 for a brief second when I alt tab back to the desktop and look at the program. Everything is enabled and I selected the GOG version which I am using from the drop down menu. Bummer I cannot seem to get this to work.
