Same issues for me. I can't run the game in ultrawide 2560x1080..
We need hope and patience..

Are you using the correct patch? Make sure you are using the "Clean" version of the 21:9 patch.

Man I can't stand the forced updates in Steam there is no way to turn that shit off(that I know of) even if you force only update when you launch it will still queue up mandatory updates and lock the game

Go to the game folder an replace the exe with that one and then delete the file re_chunk_000.pak.patch_002.pak in the game folder in order to make it work

I tried this several times and it will NOT work for me.

The original solution was just fine. But since crapcom updated it I cant get it to run in ultrawide.

I downloaded the clean exe and the 3440x1440 patch directly from the links above. I then replaced the original exe with the one I downloaded here, deleted the 002.pak update folder, added the patch to the folder. Ran the patch.

Launched the game

Game launches in 16:9

Repeated this 3 times.

I'm sorry but i can't seem to get it all working...
whenever i select the DevilMayCry5.exe file it gives me an error of: File not found or file access error... Pls help T.T

I got a downloaded version of DMC5. And i cant get this to work. I have tried to download the 475mb file and used both the steam and non steam version of the 3440x1440 patch and it works fine with the patch. But when ever i start the game nothing happens. Other than i can see it "hang" in the Task Manager.

This re_chunk_000.pak.patch_002.pak file was never in the folder. So couldnt delete that. So what am i doing wrong?

Guys i have tired everything! Please HELP!

I have two 27 inch monitors connected with surround and my native resolution is 5120 x 1440.
I have successfully applied the 48x9 patch provided which takes away the black bars on the sides of screen
but the picture seems stretched and now there are black bars on the top and bottom instead.
I should also mention that it is consistent in menu and gameplay.


I have also tried messing with the hex values to no avail.
