New version is live.

v1.63.0 Released:

* I have not had EB or whatever Infinity Ward uses to test this version. Use at your own risk.
* Added support for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 v1.1 (SP and MP)
* Added aspect-ratios for 2 monitors, as well as cinema aspect-ratio.

I'll have to try that later when I get home. So what's the difference with 17:10?

17:10 isn't really 17:10 (1.7). I just couldn't find a better way to name it.

17:10 is for those with 1024x600 displays, which comes out to 1.706666. It's basically in between 15:9 and 16:9. I guess you can try it out and see if you like it more or less than 3 x 16:9.

yeah i noticed with 3 x 17:10 - the fov is larger by a little, but dopefish if your saying its between 15:9 and 16:9, wouldnt it be smaller?

lol so which one would be the widest with the most fov? with 5760x1200 resolution

I would guess the 16:9 would be the widest as everything else would be at a smaller ratio.

I tested the 17:10 and I like it. I tried going back to 16:9 and I think between the two it comes down to personal choice. It is all good as we still get to play in 5760x1200 no matter what setting we choose.

16 / 9 = 1.77
17 / 10 = 1.7
15 / 9 = 1.66

as you can see 16/9 is the wider aspect ratio

The list of aspect-ratios in the combobox actually go from smallest to largest. The only one that doesn't have a place is the cinema ratio, which I just put on the bottom because it doesn't really have a place.

Go back through the thread and read DopeFish's description on how it works. Nobody has been banned and (we are 99.9% sure) that you will not be banned/detected/whatever. But, like all such things, there is no guarantee! ;)

no problem, the fixer works great ! but i'm searching what is the mothod of this fixer to correctly displaying the aspect ratio.

memory is hacked ? config.cfg is edited before the game starting ?

and what parameters was used ?

i post this question because i have bought my game on steam, i have allready made videos for youtube and dailymotion with this fixer, but now steam have cancelled my gift ...

so i haven't payed my game 70€ but i'll never pay 70€ for only one game !
i have bought my game on a cheapper platform for steam but 3 days latter, steam have cancelled all of these !

and now i'm obligated to use crack fo playing my game... a game which was payed and activision and steam will not refund this add-on of money...

and widescreen fixer dos'nt work with crack.

so if you don't want give me a solution, it's not problem, i have allready finished my game and i don't play online... but i would like make aonther videos in HD with fraps and a futur HD camcorder for youtube...

i want made one video per stage.

Widescreen fixer broke again with the 168 update. Let us know if/when you can get the fix out DP! Thanks again :) On a positive note, let's hope they fixed the buggy IWNet Matching.

I'll say it again: Read my earlier post in this thread. I'll give you a tip this time, check page 6.

It sounds like you bought a CD key from a illegitimate source and Steam disabled it.
