Its only minimize the Full screen and the Black bars are also there

Using HxD (Hex Editor) - BACKUP YOUR EXE FILE BEFORE!
File -> Open -> Devil May Cry 5.ExE
Find the following line (CTRL+F -> Hex-Values Tab)
40 00 00 10 41 00 00 80 41 (It should be Offset 0448B8D0)
Replace 00 00 80 41 With
00 00 00 42 (32:9)
00 00 AC 41 (21:9)

Hey jackfuste, could you update the patch please ? the new update broke it.

Ok, I found a way to make the patch work until jackfuste updates the patch. Someone on the steam forum posted a link to the old denuvoless exe which I got from here:

Go to the game folder an replace the exe with that one and then delete the file re_chunk_000.pak.patch_002.pak in the game folder in order to make it work. Finally use the clean version of jackfuste's patch on the new exe and enjoy the game in 21:9 again. Also, start the game from the exe in the folder and not by pressing "play" in steam to avoid steam just updating the game again.

Preaching to the choir, but can also confirm update breaks the fix

Can confirm it works. I believe that latest patch just increased Denuvo security and didn't change anything for the game.

hi, im new on the forum, i just created an account to say how much im tired of finding the "fix" for triple A games...

i even bought the game because i liked it so much, it was better to continue playing the "f*ee version"...

I have tried everything several times but doesnt work. I used the exe posted here, deleted tha update file and patch using 3440×1440 res. I can run the game but not in ultrawide, there is no way to run it in ultrawide mode. Please some help is welcome
