I tried my plugin with the latest WSF release and is working. What isn't working for you?

Couple of things. Firstly although the game was starting in eyefinity the menus etc were all stretched. I thought this was because the Widescreen Fixer hadn't been activated so I tried... but no change.
I then went into the game settings and played with the resolutions... since then I can't get it back into eyefinity. My three monitors keep showing me the same on each display rather than span them all

My Skyrim is version 1.4.21.0 and is a steam version?

Any help would be great as I'm dying to play this.

A lot of people do not seem to be aware of the configure button (which is the gear icon next to the game name). Also, auto-detection currently only works for NVIDIA. Disable it for Eyefinity and input your regular resolution and then your bezel-corrected resolution.

I will be changing this up soon and hopefully detailing everything so it's more understandable.

as for auto detech working for Nvidia.. im using Nvidia 460's in sli and doesnt work...

I still get the same result

I still get the same result with disabling the auto res.

Game version set to 1.4.1
auto detect resolution - off
display count 3
uncorrected resolution 2048 x 1080
corrected resolution 6144 x 1152

------------------------------------------
Skyrim options are currently set to 16:9 widescreen
2048x1152
antialiasing = 8 samples
anisotropic filtering 16 samples
all settings ultra
-------------------------------------------

Widescreen fixer says that the game is running.
When I hit the * button the hud appears or disappears but this doesn't go into an eyefinity mode. It continues to be replicated on each of the three screens.
By hitting the * button, the widescreen fixer says the fix is enabled though.

-------------------------------------------

As per my previous post I am using a slightly different version of Skyrim to 1.4.1. Mine is 1.4.21.0. Its from Steam as well.

Hmm your resolutions LOOK WEIRD ^_^. Uncorrected resolution is standard resolution without bezel correction So: 1680x3=5040 and 1050 for Height
1680x3 +2x95= 5040+190 = 5230 x 1050 Corrected resolution.

OFC it will not work with those random numbers:)) Please put your actual resolution inside the edit boxes and you will see it will work;))

Best Regards,

In the main window of Widescreen Fixer, there is a hidden button in the lower-right corner. It's above the lines for the groupbox. You'll know when you find it because it will change to a pointer cursor. Click that button and tell me the results, or post a screenshot of that window.

Ok, latest attempt of getting Skyrim to work....

In widescreen fixer settings are as follows;
Uncorrected Resolution - 6144 x 1152
Corrected resoluion 6348 x 1152
Auto detect is off

I now get skyrim on the centre monitor only. But enabling the widescreen fix just causes the hud to flash and then disappear.

So far I haven't got skyrim to span three monitors yet.

For Skyrim, you might want to post in the Skyrim thread. Helifax is the author of that plugin and he probably knows more about it than I do.

I've uploaded a new Widescreen Fixer build.

This one bumps the plugin API up to v2.1 and it has some pretty major code changes.

It's meant to make everything work more seamlessly and efficiently. It also makes it far simpler on developers and it requires writing a lot less code.

I'll be working with helifax to get his plugins updated soon.

While the main class that does the bulk of the work for the plugins is simple, the actual form could use a lot of work.

In the coming weeks I will be completely overhauling the configuration form to make it just as simple and efficient as the main class.

No go continue...

Auto-detection is working fine for you then.

The fact that the aspect-ratio says NaN makes me think that there was a wrong game version in there somewhere.

I've uploaded revision 345.
http://www.widescreenfixer.org/

This one fixes a pretty severe CPU usage bug when exiting a game.

Also, I set up a new old page for previous revisions.
