Stone Prisoner DLC ($15, quest and ally)

Helps fight used copies, etc.

So you are saying every purchased game comes with Stone Prisoner?

Yes, but only the Deluxe Digital Download comes with the Warden's Keep DLC.

So the are advertising something every game has as exclusive? Brillant.

"Buy Street Fighter IV, comes with Chun-Li! A 15$ value!"

Every NEW game. That means any time you buy it in a store (back alleys don't count, but you might get lucky!) and any time you get it online, you get this DLC. If you bought it used or something, you can still buy the DLC yourself.

Every NEW game.

Exclusive content for buying a game.

Considering that a reseller should be giving you the license you should also have the DLC as well. Unless it is a one time thing which means people who reinstall will need to buy it anyway.

Uhh, that came out like two weeks ago. Bolded is on our front page too, lulz.

@Tanuki: Not sure what you mean by reseller (I'm also about to collapse on my bed), but regging your key on BioWare's Social Network and logging in on your game will download the DLC. I'm sure you can pick out plenty of ups and downs to this but I'm pretty happy with the game and its "extras" so far.

I am thinking someone selling a preowned copy. If it works like Mass Effect DLC you get an executable and install code which does not need online access to work. So someone who sells you a preowned copy just needs to supply that info when purchased.

but I'm pretty happy with the game and its "extras" so far.

Good, I would hope so.

If you want, I can. Just ask.

8 pages in and I assume some of you are seasoned at playing this game, where as I've just started. Any beginner tips?

Ok, don't know if you mind spoilers so I'll keep it brief. If you like to collect things (loots). then you'll want to increase your storage space. The 2 cheapest backpack are available in the very first town/camp you get to after your starting story. Talk to the quartermaster when you first get there and he will have one for sale. Then once you return from your first quest before you return to your contact, he will have another for sale (which is 1 more then then you'll usually see in any town) and the price will be more expensive then.

Also, Depending on your character, you might want to take on certain quest earlier. Did you get the Warden's Keep DLC, if so, do that and the stone prisoner first which will give you some nice loot to equip your party. Hang on to everything that say GIFT in their description as you'll find good use for them afterward.

If you have a Rogue, train up your lockpick skill early (or as soon as they becomes available) as there are many locked chest with nice loot. Also be sure to use the TAB key often and everywhere so you won't miss anything. Especially before you exit Warden's Keep.

[quote]Now, anyone care to talk about Dragon Age again?

(HINT)

Give me about a week...I'm holding off installing until the new vid card arrives. This is not easy, I have a copy or Dragon Age sitting on my desk....

::uses slight of hand to steal Gecko's DAO DVD out of the box and replaces it with a burned copy of Hello Kitty Online::

I seriously need to scrounge some change so I can get me a copy. MW2 and L4D2 busted my budget for this month.

NNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!

Well, Christmas came early for me yesterday...look what the elves dropped off... :D

Nice packaging. Am I the only one who finds Asus' new slogan a tad disturbing?

The beast! This is the most elegantly packaged piece of computer hardware I have ever purchased. Looks more like the kind of packaging you'd expect from buying some premium 30 year old scotch.

This thing is massive. Here's my old X1800XT in comparison. I'm using an Antec P183 case and I had to flip my main HDD upside down in the drive bay in order for the card to fit. Even so, it did so just barely.

Loaded the drivers and fired it up, it looks great. I think there's work to be done on the drivers yet, as Risen looked hilarious. The textures on the buildings move as you look around, weird.

I loaded Dragon Age last night and it looks fantastic! Maxed everything and it's smooth as silk. Just started the game and so far so good...this game looks promising. Still getting used to the relatively fixed camera angles (coming from Risen).

Now I'm off to play Hello Kitty again...

I got this for 40 at EB. It was in store. The computer said 40 and they could not figure out why so that is what I paid. 8)

Sounds like someone misplaced a decimal point in the computer.

Been too busy playing AC2 and going out this past week that I haven't gotten around to playing recently. ;_;

Going through the Stone Prisoner DLC atm and [spoilers]: is there any way to save the girl besides having high coercion/cunning?

Also, WTB spoiler tags PST

I'm well into the game and I'm loving it thus far. Did the Warden's keep and I'm now in Redcliffe.

Thanks for continuing to hide the spoilers in this thread!

Great game. It's everthing Oblivion wasn't.

This gets my game of the year award personally.

Heck it's not even my kind of game (normally hate having to micromanage) but it all comes together so well, the story is really engaging, it looks amazing, the soundtrack is fantastic, the characters are wonderful and it's soooo addictive.

2009 has been an absolutely fantastic year for games.

COD:MW2, RE5, Infamous, DoW2, Killzone 2, Trine, Batman AA, SFIV, Brutal Legend, Halo 3 ODST, Uncharted 2, Pokemon Platinum, Prototype, Borderlands, Torchlight,
