5870 + TripleHead2Go Digital = Working?

Does the TripleHead2Go Digital and the 5870 work together like they should yet? I'm about to buy a 5870 and am wondering if I need to buy the adapter of not, as I don't have money for the adapter, but i do have a TripleHead2Go Digital.

if you are using the triple head to go and not eyefinity, i dont think you need any adapter. might wanna get some other opinions first though.

Well I have enough to buy the 5870 right now, but i don't want to lose Surround Gaming, and have to wait to get a DP adapter.

I dont know about the latest drivers ATI released, but there was no support for thg, and no plans to add it, according to an admin in ATI forums.

It "should" since it will treat the Th2g like a wide monitor

Most have said they cant get anything other than 3840x1024

And that's only with the v9.8 drivers. anything above that and your looking at an even lower rez that's looks s... :?

I have (well soon won't) a 4870x2 that's been awsome until now... Selling for Nvidia as they are far more compatible with Matrox hardware.

i tried it out and was able to get the 5870 working with a maxtrox th2go digital edition at 3840*720. although i had to push all gfx settings to the limit in the catalyst to get a decent image on 3x 50"...
