So more or less rearranging the usage of your current wealth/money.

Looking at my desk I "might" be able to pull off triplehead if I had the funds. It would be hard but I could maybe fit 3 monitors with one partly over edge of desk (base on desk, monitor above base not)

Well I sold the projector, I have $450, I figure I should keep the money for the eyefinity 6 card on march 11, and save up money for the remaining monitor, mounts and adapters. What do you guys think?

monitors came in, For now I have everything in a line (5x1). But I notice this way i need longer cables... so I found 1 VGA extender and am using that :(. So I have 4 hooked up, im going out to see if i can get a bigger DVI cable. I really hate VGA, it looks terrible on LCD's and you have to mess with pixel clocks, oh well. Anyway Ill get some picts up when i have all of them connected.

I think it depends on the TFT... VGA through to my HDTV looks great. And it's way, way less hassle than using HDMI from a PC - that underscans terribly for some reason. VGA on my 2405 looks good too.

You know what? I'm having a hard time figuring out what I'm supposed to do with the other two monitors, they kinda just stay there doing nothing.

EDIT: Here's Some Pictures

Update your sig, and nice though for me that would be way too much horizontal real estate, I see why people go portrait for 5 monitors (or are planning on it)

I haven't chosen yet, I'm thinking about going 3x2 landscape more than 5x1 portrait (Due to Desk Space).

My desk has a weird little shelf that I'd like to get rid of and do 5x1 landscape and maybe something on top. But I figure with 3x2 format I can play 3x1 or 3x2 or 1x1 monitor when ever i feel like it.

Just an update, I bought 2 mini-DP -> VGA adapters from monoprice. I found a $50 Visa gift card I lost a while back and treated myself to some adapter niceness. I also got two HDMI->DVI adapters for xbox goodness and 1 of those RCA couplers to get rid of the change, i have 0.22 cents left.
