I only turn on eyefinity for games, and I turn it off immediately afterwards. But going to CCC and creating the group, then arranging it is a time consuming process. As is disabling it, then disabling the correct monitor (I use 2/3 normally), then arranging the other 2 and setting the right primary is also time consuming.

ive heard of people using profiles to streamline this process. How do I do that? Is it optimal with the current drivers? Im at 9.12, but I can upgrade).

Ok, I found the profile thing but I cant seem to save my arrangements correctly. I would always end up with 2 identical profiles, and sometimes they dont work. Sometimes they did work but the monitor arrangemetns were wrong. How do you set this thing?

I started with the 9.11 drivers and loading saved profiles never worked.

I started using 10.1 and now my Eyefinity profiles loads about half the time. The other half it goes into triple-clone. My other 4 profiles - all extended mode - always load successfully.

So once you update to the new drivers, you should at least be able to disable Eyefinity quickly.

1. set up your screens/color settings/etc. to what you want to save.
2. in CCC, at top-right click Options - Profiles - Profile Manager.
3. Give your profile a name, and select hotkeys and/or desktop shortcuts to be created upon saving.
4. Save it.

I guess it was a known bug in 9.12 and some still experience it with 10.1.

Shit, the middle of winter, and a housefly just landed on this monitor. Oh, for the old days of being able to crush a bug up against your glass CRT front...

10.1 worked for me.

Same as you though, extended desktops work good but eyefinity profiles dont.

Oh well, that was really what mattered.
