Dungeon Keeper 2 Widescreen/zoom mod

I know I read you can put it the custom resolution in the registry. And I did. I put 1920x1080.

But everything looks really close, even more so then with 1024x768.

Is there a way around this? maybe some zoomhack or cameramod?
