Question above. Got my 5970 today. I see many of the people here are using dual link cables for the dvi inputs. If I am going 1680x1050 eyefinity do I need to go out and buy dual link dvi cables also? All I have is the regular ones that come with the monitors. Guess I will try them out and see if they work tonight.

nope, dual link is only needed for > 1920*1200

Single link is capable of up to 1680 x 1050 at 73Hz or 1920 x 1200 at 56Hz.
