DR should be up soon. Game is Hor+ with HUD stretch (from a 16:9 baseline).

Funny game if you like explosions, bolts of light and power-ups - lots of'em all. Nothing stellar but the different ships, game modes and rank system make it a very nice "appetizer" game. Too bad it's a Steam exclusive, but with a launch price of under 10€, one can only imagine how cheap it may get in a couple months...

Looking forward to the DR and any other insights on the game. Trek is a weak spot for me and this game has been teasing me with the $10 price tag. If it hits a weekend deal I will certainly cave.

Giantbomb.com did a quicklook on the game, about 20 minutes of gameplay straight through, and it looked rather terrible.

Not a bad game, just a popcorn game. May not be suitable for die-hard Trekkies though :oops:

They've made enough starship Trek shooter games in the last decade to marginalize the meaningfulness of this one. The only thing this is, is fluff wrapped in the current Trek movie models. There are better Trek ship games out there. I'll only pick it up if Steam does a $2.99 sale on it some time.

Yeah, Star Trek Legacy wasn't too bad and looks a hell of a lot better than this game.
