I'm playing this game and I've noticed that the FOV isn't good. I think is like 60 or 65 and I would want to change it to at least 80.
I read this game uses UT3 but the game folder doesn't have the usual ut3 engine files.

Any help is appreciated.

What resolution are you playing at ? Does the FOV look ok in 4:3 ? Can you post a screenshot or two ? Is there a cure for questionmarkomania ?

Yes I looked every usual place and nothing found.

FOV in 4:3 look the same for me. This game seems to be a direct console port. The menus are so simple and you only have 3 options in video settings. No AR option. Just resolution, texture size and shadow quality.

Some screenshots.

files:

1920x1200

1600x1200

It seems the AR is ok for wider reolutions but the FOV isn't wide enough for me (like in every console port).
I couldn't find another lighter place to take the screenshot, I'm on the first mission and it's so dark everywhere.

See the folder? Doesn't have the typical ut3 files...

Not a UE3 game ! It's built on Rebellion's in-house engine. So yeah, expect consolishness.
You're not standing at the exact same spot on both screenies, so it's hard to tell but it doesn't look like perfect Hor+ either... :? (Hor+/Vert- ? Hor+ world, Vert- character's hands ?)

Yeah the hand seems weird.
I thought it was ut3 I read about it here:

It's already around the net.
I usually download and test games before buying them to avoid this kind of problems. Don't see any harm on this behaviour.

I would have buy FarCry 2 if I didn't test it before. I didn't like the consolishness feel of the game so I didn't buy it. After 3 months ALL my complaints with the game were solved (FOV, mouse acceleration, toggle ironsights, bugs...) so I bought it.

If an admin feels this is against the rules then close this thread.

You're inflating piracy stats, seeding it to people who will never buy it and arguably acting outside the best interests of the industry and PC gamers everywhere. How hard is it to wait a bit after release to hear feedback from those who purchased?

We had a discussion about banning pirates outright, and I suggest this action is taken here.

I agree, hasn't it been said before that there is no reason to pirate, they're all rationalization or something?

WSGF does not allow any discussion of pirated material.

It will be up to an admin whether to ban you or not.
