After startup or reboot - my monitors display on screen that I am using a DVI connection. I am using a 10 ft RoHS compliant Digital DualLink cable from computer to GXM and single link DVI cables from GXM to the monitors.
After running the Setup Wizard - I see this - Is this RIGHT ? ? ?
The wizard has finished retrieving information and is ready to apply the following display setup:
- Digital
- Connector 1:
- Dell Computer Corp. Dell 2208WFP (Digital) on Analog connector.
- Connector 2:
- Dell Computer Corp. Dell 2208WFP (Digital) on Analog connector.
- Connector 3:
- Dell Computer Corp. Dell 2208WFP (Digital) on Analog connector.
- Display setup:
- 3 displays, stretched mode
- Display mode to apply:
- 1680x1050 per monitor (output refresh rate: 55Hz)
Why does it show that I am using an Analog connection? The reason that I ask is that I cannot get Bezel management guidelines to X at the center of my center monitor? I am looking for any ideas that may help.
thank you, David

Re: strange question about Setup Wizard
I am using a 10 ft RoHS compliant Digital DualLink cable from computer to GXM
Is this the supplied cable?
I know the TH2G run the short supplied cable close to or at maximum capacity, and this can be compromised by a longer length.
When I am at work next I can check what my TH2G monitors report as.
i5-2500K @ 4Ghz ° Asus P8Z68 ° GTX670 Windforce OC ° 8GB DDR3 RipjawsX ° 4x Viewsonic VA2703 ° Logitech G15 / G5 / G27 ° Razer Vespula ° TrackIR 5 ° Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS
no it is not
Wanted to relocate computer on floor away from monitors so I had to buy another longer cable. I temporarily moved computer back and used short 2 ft cable that came with GXM and SAME RESULTS. bezel management guide lines will not X at center of monitor but at 2/3 distance to the right.
Looking at Nividia cp shows that current resolution is 5040x1050 but I am wondering what I "really" have on my monitors. If I change resolution in Matrox PD to 4320x900 I get the same results. also I do not get the correct pixel numbers at the top of the screen during bezel management.
any idea to try ? - thanks
