Best Triple Screen Graphics Card Setup for Under $1000??

Assuming a hard limit of $1000 (and preferably less), what is that best (most powerful) graphics card setup?

1x5970?
2x5870 1GB?
2x5870 2GB?
2x 6000 series?
Nvidia product?

Looking for ideas.

6970 CrossFire or GTX580 SLI.

6950 CF unlocked to 6970's if you want to spend a little less cash.

Definitely. If only because of the much better scaling. That combined with the fact that they are just flat out faster.

I would go with 2 6950's though and unlock them.
