I guess you're talking about my energy-thing.
Well did you know 15% of the carbon dioxide reduction we need for the climatic to get on the right course could be achieved if everyone bought energyefficient hardware? :D

I know that almost any new TFT screen has the energy star thing and it doesn't help alot that I alone buy an expensive Dell super energy-friendly monitor, but I can't seem to find anything better.

Any suggestions to triplehead monitors, go ahead! :D

if everyone bought energy efficient hardware, the carbon dioxide that would be produced for constructing all this hardware will probably more than negate any advantage of energy efficiency for the next few years, only after several years will the total be positive...

without even considering the massive amount of old hardware waste to handle ...

also given the current situation which is already catastrophic for some areas of the world, we will need more than 15% in the end :/

The Dell G2210 is, according to Dell, made with nothing that could hurt the enviroment. Even the case is made from recycleplastic. xD
And the old hardware, just hide it in the basement for now :P ahh lol, my helprequesting thread has turned into a climatic discussion thread, damn.,

Make sure you check out the Confirmed monitors list if you want to run at 5040.

Dell's are generally excellent monitors, so I'd pick one of them which is on the confirmed list. Buy whatever fits into your budget.

For Windows 7, it does work but check out the existing threads floating about on how to achieve it; 190.56 drivers appear to be working (ish).

Problem is that there's only one of those monitors on the confirmed list available from Dell Denmark, and that being a 20" - Wouldn't 22" be better?
The cheapest 22" is the lovely LED G2210, which is is quite new and not on the confirmed list; wouldn't it still work if it supports 1680x1050@57hz?

lol man, you should forget all this "recycle" stuff and follow eZ` tip - check the list and buy some monitors that surely siupport 57 HZ - otherwise it wont work, no matter how "clean" they are.

I checked the list several times, and many of the monitors on the list is not available to me.

I thought of going with the Samsung SyncMaster 2243BW which is on the list (or well, the one on the list is BWX), although I don't know much about Samsung, and would feel much more safe with a Dell Monitor, but that'd be either a 20" or the G2210 thats off the list.

Is anyone able to find out if
Samsung SyncMaster 2243BW
and
Dell G2210
works at 1680x1050 in triplehead?

In 2009-01. The best 22" widescreeen all round monitor I reject the Samsung SyncMaster 2243BW amongst many others. The Viewsonic VX2262wm seemed to be the clear winner. I bought three of them and am very happy. I can confirm the VX2262wm works with TripleHead2Go, digital edition, (3 X 1680x1050@57hz).

I searched all around the net for danish or danish-shipping e-shops with this monitor, but I was just to find "This product has been discontinued and can no longer be purchased." over and over.
Damn, it gotta be like yesterday it was taken out, because it's still on google :(

So can't get this monitor, any other ideas for monitor choosal?
