U2311h eyefinity setup

Post by olenmira »

Hey everyone, I'm new here. Recently I've bought 3 Dell U2311H for Eyefinity setup. I've connected one displayport cable ( http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.37595 ) and 2 dvi cable to my 5870. I'm currently using CCC 10.9 and window 7 64bit. Once I've boot up my computer, there will be a beeping sound and all of the monitor will enter power saving mode while my 5870 will be running at 100% fan speed. Therefore I would have to disconnect 2 of my monitor and the desktop will power on as per normal.

Here where the problem lies, every time after I've manually shut down the computer and on it again. The beeping sound will appear and I would have to go through all the disconnection part again whereas when I restart the computer, no beeping sound can be heard and I'll be able to start up the computer perfectly fine. Anybody care to share what may be the cause of this problem? Pardon me for my english and thanks alot :?

Your english is fine, just hope you understand our replies.

What power supply does your computer have? If it isn't a branded one, what does the 3.3v, 5v and 12v current rating say? It will be in XX A, ampares.

Also, how many beeps happen? Is it 3 beeps then stops? Endless beeping?

The beep is a BIOS fault code, so detailing your motherboard model would be helpful too.

I'm currently using Andyson F600M, similar to Seasonic. Hmm...there only 3 beeping sounds and the motherboard I'm currently using is Asus P55D-PRO.
