EE2 problem

Hey Guys,
I got Empire Earth 2 today and am really excited to play it, but once installed i was very dissapointed to see that the resolution was poor.
I downloaded UniWS and ran it, selected EE2.exe, put in the desired rsolution, but when i click Patch, i get an error message that says i need to close all other programs, but there are no other programs running
Can anyone please help, Thanks!
