Vista Games Folder - How Do You Make Game Icon Info Show?

Post by DasFox »

With Vista, can you get any game you install to show information in the 'Games' folder?

In the screenshot below I clicked a game which now shows gaming information on the right side pane, that info is what I'm talking about if I can get HalfLife2 to show something as well in that pane?

I made my own games folder because that one is a pain in the butt...

Anyway, I don't think you can edit that window, the game either tells Windows the information or it doesn't.

There is a fair bit about this if you Google it... but I didn't have the patience to try some of the fixes that people say work.

Annoying thing is... when I installed Civ IV: Complete, it put all the box art on properly at the end of the install. However, I patched Beyond the Sword to the latest one, and it's broken the box art for the other two?

So it doesn'ty sound like it's an easy solution that works 100% all the time?

THANKS

It wasn't an easy solution. At least, not in my opinion.
