And you are definitely pointing to the
original GXM.inf from the downloaded PowerDesk SE? It sounds to me like you are still using the TRIAL GXM.inf, I have a similar monitor as you (2
407WFP) in the centre and it works fine. It is only with the trial GXM that I get the out of range error (I have Dell E248WFPs on the outsides and they work fine with the trial GXM).
Go into Device manager and manually point the driver at the GXM.inf from your Program FilesMatrox Graphics IncPwerDesk SEGXM.inf.
This is a digitally signed driver, as you can see from the image below even though I have uninstalled the trial PD-SE I can still select the trial (unsigned) GXM.inf as it has been stored in the windowsdrivers folder somewhere. Make sure you are using the one with the Authenticode(tm) ;) next to it.
