I read the FAQ regarding Field of View, and I'm still not sure if I properly understand it. I have an Eyefinity setup with 3 16x9 monitors. If a game provides a way to adjust the FOV, what should I set it to? I found some posts on a forum about 144 degrees, but then reading the FAQ it seemed to say that it all depends on how the game implements it.

I've been using eyefinity for a while, and the fish eye really doesn't bother me, but if adjusting the FOV would make it look more appropriate I'm all for it.

The one game that had an in game FOV adjuster that I tried was X3 Terran Conflict. I believe it went from 70-120 or something along those lines (with the default 90.) It didn't seem to look any better (or much worse for that matter) adjusting it either way.

Thanks for any help!
Matthew

Hmm... Well, it's more about preference, but for Unreal Engine games I use 142 for 3x16:10 and for 3x16:9 i use 152.

But in general for 3x16:10 I use 142-144 and for 3x16:9 I use 150-155.
