Best 20" monitor

Post by Jackster »

Hi I'm looking for 2 new 20" monitors to connect up for multi-screen. Looking for widescreen with thin bezel if possible and not one of the glossy screens as they reflect light too much. Primarily I'll be using it for work, but also to watch the odd blu ray/dvd film and play games. I was looking at the Samsung F2080, but was a bit worried at the low response time (8ms) could cause blurring when playing games or watching films. Would rather have a PVA or IPS screen if possible. Budget is around £150 - £200 per screen. Any other recommendations?

Hi Jackster

The Dell P2210H is 21.5" and the cheapest DisplayPort monitor I know of in the UK, which would save you a lot of headache if you're going the EyeFinity route. Take a look at the specs/price here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-038-DE

If you're not going to be using EyeFinity, then for up to 200quid for a 20" you can really take your pick. The F2080 would be pretty good for your use, I wouldn't worry about the response time at all.
