Well with the demo I can't find a way to set the resolution so it s stuck at some low single screen res like 1024x768 not sure exactly what res is ... as there is no where that tells me.

So the question goes out to MrCrowley ... how do you set the res ?

When you first load the game (and maybe in the demo, I haven't tried it) it chucks you straight into a "Tutorial" race. You have to quit out of this to go back to the menu where you can find the options for graphical settings and the like.
All resolutions that should be available for me, are (up to 1680).

Thanks bud ... with the demo you can't get back to the menu ... it leaves the game if you exit the race ... with the usual ... get the full game now stuff ... :(

Again, it would be worthwhile for you guys to communicate your interest about Th2Go support to the devs on this one. I know they are considering a patch to include support, so the extra feedback would surely help move things along. :)

Hi Mark ...

I know it does do TripleHead to some degree and I wanted to see what we had before posting so that I could post with some knowledge/insight.

As such I downloaded their 2GB's of utter rubbish they call a demo.
I have fought with this thing for hours ... it is just rubbish.

It won't allow me to change the resolution at all and it is stuck as a very low square screen res without any AA.
You have to wait for what seems like an eternity for each screen to load and then you are forced through a tutorial which is really painful at such a low resolution without AA only to find you have to wait for another eternity to be forced into the main demo race ... again in low res with no AA
If you press escape to bypass all this you are dropped out of the game after some of the usual "get the full game now ... it is better than this honest" bullshite ...
No options to change the res at all.

As far as I'm concerned they wasted my time and download allowance etc. when I downloaded their 2GB of rubbish ... they are not going to get any more of my time and I certainly won't buy the game.

Not what you wanted to hear I know but their lack of respect, interest or concern for the people that may buy the game means they can shove it where the sun don't shine ...

Can you tell I'm not happy with them ? ... :P
As you know it takes a lot to get me pissed off but they managed it ... so I won't be posting.

Please feel free to pass this on to any contacts you have with the company.

In the mean time I urge all the TripleHeaders out there not to bother with the 2GB download as it will just be a waste of your time.

I have to say, that's a real shame, as the game is actually (imo) very good. Loads of fun. Like SSX on quad bikes. :)

You get to create your ATV completely from scratch - Frame, Body, Brakes, Suspension, etc etc - and I reckon you'd have fun editing the liveries in the game files Paddy :P .. (I have no idea whether that's possible or not)

Thanks for the feedback Paddy,

the demo must have been REALLY bad - i've never seen you so pissed!

I'll try and pass this on to the game's producer in a polite way :)

Cheers,
Mark

Hi Mark ... eZ`...

He-he ...

I was very angry ...

As you know I'm not new to this and I expect some games not to work or that I may have to work at finding a solution but ... holy TripleHead and for the love of all that is good in the world !
I can't tell you how many times I went through that crap wondering ... "did I miss something ? ... what am I doing wrong ?" ... and it was painful the first time !

Hopefully for those that buy the game things are different ... just avoid the demo else you may risk having to go to anger management classes ...

The game actually looks very good and in TH it could be fantastic ... shame the demo lets it down so much.
