I'm not sure surround gamers will have anything new with this, but hey, it's still a great game made even greater by a free download (or nicely loaded box)... So don't miss it !

I bought it to benchmark with on my 9800GX2 review. Couldn't get to a good benchmark spot, so I haven't played it.

But, I'm a *HUGE SUCKER* for collector's editions. I think I'll rebuy and the give the original away on the site.

As soon as the Enhanced Edition is released, I'm gonna start playing this game again. :D

The (long) intro sequence (Geralt's rescue and castle attack) is a benchmark in itself ;) except that it won't work in Surround... Running around Market Quarter in Vizima was my benchmark spot of choice though.

Here's the description of the Huge Sucker's Boxed Set  (the EE will of course also be available as a "normal" DVD with only the game)

http://www.thewitcher.com/community/en/www/ee_description.html

This caught my eye :
2) Two new adventures in the world of The Witcher that will give you more than 5 hours of additional gameplay. Fully voiceover`ed by the same actors acted in ‘The Witcher’.
The Price Of Neutrality was already available for download, but with "mute" dialogs. Now there's a second additional scenario and they both get audio dialogs ! Hurray ! :D

On a sidenote, the original Collector's Edition featured a very nice artbook... that even this Enhanced Edition won't have !
THIS IS HUGESUCKERSFEST as die-hard fans can have both the CE and the boxed EE without useless/expensive redundant material !!! :w00t

Why 'delayed' ? You really expected it to be available before the boxed game is released in Europe ??

Three more days for a random NPC clothes generator... I'll live

US game released on 16th.

So why not release everywhere at the same time, and the patch too? How hard is it?

I got mine off Impulse. Figured I may as well since I didn't own it originally and if you get it off Impulse it's DRM-Free.
