I was looking at the 2709 as I want a replacement for my 2405 but at the current price. I can get a Sharp Aquos 32" 1080p LCD HDTV for the same price. I have a PS3 hooked up to the 46" version in my living room and I have no noticeable lag.

Well guy's i did choose for the 2709W and yes i am a hardcore gamer, (cod5) but for that money (590 euro) i cannot buy a better one if you look at price against value.

And yes i did hardcore gaming also with my current monitor (2407WFP)

So what do you think of my choice ?

The Dells are a common choice for gaming and they do scale well. Hopefully that A01 revision will cure the input lag, otherwise, I'd recommend something else, esp if you're a hardcore (eg aggressive) gamer with quick reflexes and accurate aim.
