noob question

just got my 5870 :-)
connected two monitors to the DVIs, on via dp-dvi adapter to a third monitor.
i am able to get a picture on each of the monitors by itself, and every two can work together, but the group creation wizard lets me select only 2x1 or 1x2 configuration.
does it mean the adapter i'm using isn't doing the job?
or is the adapter enough if it even outputs a display and recognizes the monitor ?

Could you please tell us which screens you are using and which adapter? :)
