cant seem to get it working for the th2g when i set the graphics to 3048*1024 it resets then reverts back to the normal screen any idea?

i had this happen to me too, for me, if i changed to many options at once this would happen, change 1 thing at a time and see if that helps. same thing happened when i was messing with my driving controls

Find the file ... hardware_settings_config.xml ... on XP it is here ...

C:Documents and SettingsAdministratorMy DocumentsCodemastersGRIDhardwaresettings

(Where Administrator would be your user name)
(I don't know where it is on Vista)

Open it with WordPad ...
Change this line ...


to read ...

3840" height="1024" aspect="normal" fullscreen="true" vsync="0" oldWidth="3840" oldHeight="1024">

Or your desired TH resolution.

If that doesn't work may be it is because your video card doesn't have 512MB of RAM ? ... in that case you need to remove the restrictions ...

Go to C:Program FilesCodemastersGRIDsystem ... open the hardware_settings_restrictions.xml ... with your wordPad.
At the bottom of the file change the "maxWidth option into whatever resolution you want ...

well i've got mine all straightened out the hard way, thanks though paddy, you really know what your doing with this stuff, i only hope one day to be as good as you. anyway, had this game now for a couple of days and i'm totally lovin it. this is the first codies game that i really LOVE. i can't stop playing it, i actually took off work to play through the night lol!!!! i know thats crazy but what the heck, i'm havin a blast with this game. formula 3 cars at san francisco is a BLAST!!!! did i mention i'm lovin this game :D
