Hello!

I recently installed THAW (Tony Hawk's American Wasteland)... and what a surprise!!! the maximum resolution is not a widescreen one...

Does anybody knows what can I do?

My native resolution is 1680x1050

A week? Your two posts where 1 day and 8 hours apart (roughly). Could it be that in that time no one with the game has read it. You are talking about a game that is two years old, and was probably more popular on consoles.

But, to try and help, let's answer some questions:

What resolutions are available?
How do these compare to the resolutions you have in Windows?
Are any widescreen resolutions available?
Is 1680x1050 the only missing resolution?

And, what have you tried?
Have you searched through any .cfg or .ini files in the game directory? If so, have you found any entries that deal with resolution?
Have you searched the registry? Chances are the locations would be something like:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREASPYR
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARENEVERSOFT

Is there a demo? If so, can you post a link. While I doubt anyone would go out and buy the game just to figure this one out (and considering that if they were a fan, that would already have it), plenty of people would download the demo to help figure it out.

There's no widescreen resolutions allowed in the game... just: 800x600... 1024x768... 1152x864... 1280x960... 1280x1024...

In windows: 1680x1050, and some others (but they are never used).

Note: I have a LCD LG 22''. (Native resolution = 1680x1050).

I have not tried anything because I don't know what to do!!!

What are the others in Windows?

Have you ever used "regedit"?

What are the names of any .cfg or .ini files in the game directory? Also see if it created a directory under "My DocumentsMy Games"

I have the game somewhere... I remember the low max resolution and annoying pedestrian mode. Worst TH title, last one on PC. :( Will reinstall and give it a shot as soon as I find it in my Messy Games Boxes Maze...
