Hey guys, been a while.

I just got the Sims 2 Deluxe, started up SGU, patched it and it will not work. The launcher points to the sims exe for plain sims 2 not for the deluxe version. I have tried copying the dll from the patched version of the sims 2 to the deluxe version but that doesn't work...any ideas?

I have Bon Voyage as the latest version, not sure about "Delux" but try pointing your shortcut to the new exe folder created by the delux version installation, probably in the delux ..TSBin folder

1. Open these two files with notepad: ..TSDataResConfigGraphics_Rules.sgr and ..TSDataResCSConfigGraphics_Rules.sgr

Look for:

setting $High
uintProp maxResWidth 1280
uintProp maxResHeight 1024
uintProp defaultResWidth 1280
uintProp defaultResHeight 1024

And change the 1280 to 3840 (or change width and height to suit whatever triplehead res your using)

2. In the file: ..TSDataResUserDataCamerasFirstPersonCameras.txt

Look for:

# Free moving first person camera.
camera "CameraMan" CameraMan
fov (20 25 30 35 40 45 50 55 60 65 70 75 80 85 90)

And add 138 to the end of the list in brackets thus: (20 25 30 35 40 45 50 55 60 65 70 75 80 85 90 138)

Same for:

# Free moving first person camera.
camera "CameraManNH" CameraMan
fov (20 25 30 35 40 45 50 55 60 65 70 75 80 85 90)

Also add 138 to the end as above.

This should give you a 3840x1024 option in the games graphics menu, and correct fov once triplehead resolution is running.

**Make sure you make a backup copy of these 3 files before altering them!! **
