Hi all
I want to run my centre output to an HDMI switch (3 in to 1 out) so I can easily switch between my PC, XBox and PS3. According to the Matrox
Connectivity Guide I should be able to use standard DVI to HDMI adaptors at either end... 1 on the box and then (via switch) 1 on the monitor DVI in. However it doesn't work, I have tried 2 cables and the adaptors work fine for the XBox and PS3. I have to manually pull the TH2Go DVI cable out of the back of my centre screen and replace it with the HDMI>DVI adaptor attached to XBox/PS3 at the moment and it sucks!
So any ideas what to do? Are all HDMI>DVI adaptors created equal? My actual adaptors have the six central DVI pins missing, I can get cheap adaptors which have all the pins, sould that make a difference?
Or am I unable to use my old spare 3 port HDMI switcher to make my life that much easier.. cos this is never going to work?
Cheers
