Someone suggested this to me as a widescreen monitor !!

Before I start I would like to apologize for my lack of knowledge on the subject.

I like to play FH1 and FH2 which are mods for BF1942 and BF2. I was looking for a kick ass monitor ( 24" - 30" ) but someone suggested this to me . Will this work ?
