Mobster awesome work...
I am wondering if you can point me in the right direction of how you got this to work, if you tell me more or less what you did to move the HUD elements i can try to give it a go for people with 5040 * 1050 and 5760 * 1200 (Myself)
If the instructions are too extensive, maybe you can share a link with a tutorial or something on how you are moving the elements, THANKS
EDIT!!!!
Nevermind man, i notice its just a flat file, i will give it a go to try to fix it for 5040 * 1050 and 5760 * 1200 resolutions using yours as a template, hope you dont mind...

I don't mind you using my file as a template. Its the same as the valve default file except for the changes I made.
I did this by changing the "xpos=" values for the elements that I wanted to move. I found that by adding 600 to the values it worked just fine. Some elements I couldn't find the "xpos=" for so I couldn't move them, see the Half-Life2Files page for that info.
Good luck!
Also I found it helpful to make a copy the file every time I made a successful change of an element.
MODS: I nominate this thread gets moved to "Mods, Skins, & Tools" board!

Moved. Thanks for pointing it out. Also, is it okay if we host this HUD Mod here?

Yes it is. Probably easier so people aren't jumping through hoops to get to it.

I've made a go at updating the HudLayout.res for 5040x1050 Resolution in Counter-Strike Source. It may not be perfect, but I have all the key elements in generally the right areas :) Take a look and let me know what you all think.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but is there anyone out there with an updated download link for the 5040 x 1050 HudLayout.res file?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Just download the orginal file and edit it, it is easy just adjust the xpos number so it fit your screen.

Re: Centered Hud for Counter-Strike: Source!
Strange, will upload my file somewhere soon, but are on vacation now .....
There newer was a 5040x1050 file if I remember correct, but if you take the original file from Mobster007, it is fairly easy to modify ....

Re: Centered Hud for Counter-Strike: Source!
I have modified Mobster007's HudLayout file for Counter-Strike Source at 5040x1050. I guess it automatically is valid for Eyefinity as well as TH2Go users with the same resolution. You can download it at:
http://www.lowpinginfo.com/th2go/hudlayout-counter-strike-source-5040x1050.zip
http://www.lowpinginfo.com/th2go/hudlayout-counter-strike-source-5040x1050.zip
Eddited the script
Thanks a lot :bowdown
It is valid indeed.
I eddited the file so it works with bezel management,
My resolution with bezel management is 5292x1050
So anybody who has a resolution somewhat around this can use my code:

Re: Eddited the script
I checked out your website. Is this script for Counter Strike: Source? Is it a HUD edit? The title and topic content don't give any clues.

I've merged this into here as the file is a CSS HUD and his first post was in here, so I'm taking a punt and saying this is where he meant to post it.

Added support for Counter Strike :Source with hudlayout.res and basechat.res to the Source Engine HUD Editor.
You can use this base pack with the calc and save the time extracting the needed files yourself. (link removed)
Thanks to Cullanna for providing the information for which items require adjusting.

Re: Centered Hud for Counter-Strike: Source!
Awesome calculator and files guys, really appreciate this, makes the game so much easier to play.
Is there any way to fix "Center player names" ?
currently my player names are neither centered or on the left... they don't exist. I point at someone and nothing, no name.
It didn't work prior to changing the .res files either.
I've verified game cache, I've deleted both the .blob files, I'm not using custom .cfgs or anything, I've changed it in the advanced settings menu, off then back on... no names.
They work on one monitor but not on surround for some reason :(
