Divine Divinity trick

Hi, I've just discovered a trick to enable widescreen for Divine Divinity. Apparently this has been noted here earlier, but there is no entry for this game in the wiki.

The trick is simple: in Divine Divinity/Run, open config.div with notepad. Change the width and heigth to your screen native resolution. Save and close.

This might cause part of the main menu to be cropped off if your screen height is less than 1024 pixels. To invoke the diary, press "Q" as the diary button will invoke a fullscreen map without any interface elements (and from which you can only escape using "Esc").

But otherwise, it works as if the game was designed for ws in the first place.

Tested using a Geforce 8800GTS under Windows XP, at 1650x1080.
