Battlefield 2 Widescreen solution update?

Maybe add dopefish's solution in which there is no Vert- for Battlefield 2 Widescreen in the Wiki:

http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/7971 and add info saying that 1.32 is assured to not be bootable by Punkbuster (as far as I've tested until now at least).

My opinion is that unless the devs specifically say that it's OK to use them, we shouldn't make third-party hacks an MGL solution for multiplayer-only games. EA/DICE have often said that they consider hor + widescreen to be an "unfair advantage," so even if Punkbuster currently doesn't auto-kick players who use the hack, I would advise against encouraging WSGF readers to step on EA/DICE's toes this way.

When I add the +szx 1680 +szy 1050 command i cannot turn on Anti anialising. Any one knows a fix? It's realy annoying.

Download nHancer and use that to force AA for Battlefield 2, works a treat for me.

It doesnt work for me, Any commands to put after the extension? Only 2X works with resolution 1680 x 1050 :?

This is how mine is set up:

"C:Program Files (x86)EA GAMESBattlefield 2BF2.exe" +menu 1 +widescreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050

Also in nHancer I have the Coverage Sampling option selected in the Anti Aliasing section for Battlefield 2, so try that mode if you haven't already. Otherwise though, what are your system specs?

Specs are QX6700, 4Gb ram, 8800gtx, Vista

Oddly enough, I tried it again the other day and now it doesn't seem to work anymore :? Only thing I did was upgrade my ForceWare drivers from 163.xx to the 169.25 version.
