Hi im George from Georgia :D i have little problem i have Windows Vista Ultimate and i wanna to play underground 2 and i have widescreen 1440 x 900.. so i download the uniws.. but is always says that: "Unable to write to file SPEED2.EXE for patch #1! Close all programs/games before patching" then "errors found unable to patch game" and that is all the time.. if some one knows something about this.. help? :cry:

I believe you need to use a nocd crack for the patch to work.

P.S. huh.. i installed windows XP sp2 and now it works.. :D thx anyway

Run the application that needs to access the file as an adminstrator. Right mouse at the executable...

i do that when i have vista but, nothing... i'm also do the XP thingy "Run Like Windows XP" nothing again.. on XP its works perfectly.. today i'm gonna instal VISTA again and test that with other version of the game..

So.. i instaled VISTA Ultimate.. the game "nfsu2" and the program "UNIWS" work perfect... and the problem was the las version of my game whas from CD.. and there is no "NOCD" needed for game to work.. this time i download it from internet with NOCD and it works.. soo thx for the UNIWS :)) :D
